Group Accounting Manager (m/f/d)

The Romaco Group is one of the world's leading specialist suppliers of processing and packaging technology. Divided into the Processing, Tableting and Packaging divisions, the company develops system solutions for the pharmaceutical, cosmetics, food and chemical industries. To reinforce our team, we are looking for a qualified and dedicated Group Accounting Manager.

Your tasks

Preparation of the group's consolidated financial statements in collaboration with colleagues in group accounting and act as proactive contact partner to external auditor
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual intercompany closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate intercompany invoicing and reconciliation of intercompany accounts
Manage and centralize end-to-end Intercompany processes across the group, aiming for enhanced efficiency, standardization, and compliance across all entities and support on building up Group SSC of accounting
Optimization, standardization and continuous development of group accounting process and set-up group accounting guidelines and user manuals
Analyze and resolve complex intercompany transactions, providing clear documentation and adhering to regulatory and transfer pricing standards
Collaborate closely with Tax, Treasury, Controlling, Local Accounting, HR, and other key departments to align and integrate intercompany activities seamlessly
Ad hoc analysis required by Management of Group
Support on special projects in alignment with Group CFO

Your profil

Bachelor professional Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
At least 3 years of experience in accounting in a multinational environment
Solid Accounting knowledge (GL, AR, AP, Cash Management)
Experience in Local GAAP& IFRS
Strong expert knowledge in the areas of consolidation and consolidated financial statements
Expertise in automation technologies and experience driving digital transformation in accounting processes (ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Advanced analytical skills and the ability to handle complex problems
Enjoy working in a team and strong communication skills
Fluent English, any other language is an advantage
