Director Group Sourcing (m/f/d)

Romaco is a leading global supplier of processing and packaging technology for pharmaceutical solids such as powders, granules, tablets and capsules.

Romaco is seeking for a dedicated candidate as a Director Group Sourcing with focus on costs, inventories, supply chain and quality with responsibility for strategic & operational Sourcing.

Furthermore, the candidate will take over an integral part of Romaco to bring the strategy of Group Sourcing to a next level.

• establishment and advancement of a Group Sourcing function worldwide to ensure performance standards and continuous achievements
• global development and implementation of purchasing and delivery strategies for production materials & components, consumables and services
• initiate and drive targeted & balanced improvements which supports on-time Delivery, working capital turnover, cost achievements and organizational change processes
• continuous optimization of cross-site and cross-country processes and leverage of synergies 
• establish groupwide KPI system to measure improvements
• analysis and expansion of current local & international supplier relationships to achieve best-in-class suppliers
• partner with our Business Units to identify improvements and opportunities for processes and organizational standards
• development of budgets, forecasts, and commodity trends as well as reporting on purchasing KPIs

• university degree (economics, industrial or mechanical engineering) or comparable education
• 10+ years of professional experience in management positions within international companies, preferably mechanical & machinery industries
• very good expertise in handling high-purchasing volumes for direct and indirect materials (> €100m p. a.)
• distinctive flexibility and openness supplemented by social skills, also in an international environment
• able to work well in cross-functional organizations
• excellent negotiation skills also international
• safe and confident demeanor
• english fluently
